Our team at Eco Roof Service recently installed a new roof on this Everett, Washington home. The homeowner’s old cedar shingle roof was looking a bit weather-worn and was in need of a replacement. They reached out to us looking to install a roofing material that offered plenty of curb appeal, while also keeping their home well-protected from the elements!
We met with these homeowners to discuss their roofing needs, and the options we have available, and after a bit of discussion, they decided the best course of action would be to install new SBS rubberized shingles on the home, providing it with superior durability compared to traditional shingles. Take a look below to learn a bit more about the project!
- Town: Everett WA
- Project: Roofing installation
- Materials: SBS Rubberized Asphalt Shingles
After discussing our available roofing options and arriving on SBS Rubberized shingles, our team began to replace the roof. Before we could replace the roof, we first needed to remove the existing shingles and repair any damage to the roof deck.
After removing the old cedar shingles, we found minimal roof deck damage, and only needed to replace a small section with new decking. After repairing those issues and laying down a new under-layment to protect the roof from water damage, we got to work on installing the new shingles!
The new shingle system was installed quickly and easily by our team of expert roofing technicians. The homeowners new roof looks great, and they were thrilled with the finished product! There will be no reason to worry about roof leaks this winter, as our SBS Rubberized shingles are durable and long-lasting, capable of handling anything Washington has to offer!
