Our team at Eco Roof Service is proud to have been able to assist these Kirkland, WA homeowners with their roof replacement needs! Their old asphalt shingle roof was beginning to show signs of wear & tear, including mold growth & warping, so these homeowners reached out to our team at Eco Roof Service to assist with their roof replacement needs!
The initial step for this, and any roofing project, is for our team to sit down and discuss our roofing options with the homeowners! While our metal roofing was an enticing option, they ultimately decided that the best option for their home was SBS Rubberized Shingles. Interested in learning more about this roofing project? - Town: Kirkland, WA
- Project: Shingle Roof Replacement
- Materials: SBS Rubberized Asphalt Shingles
Once the homeowners had decided on beautiful new SBS Rubberized Shingles for their roof, our team got to work on the job! The first thing we needed to do upon beginning work was remove the existing shingle roof. Our team took apart the existing shingle roof, and had a chance to check out the roof deck underneath the shingle system.
While there was a bit of rot damage on the roof deck, our team was able to make quick work of replacing the damage. Once we had replaced the roof deck, our team also got to work on installing a new ice & water shield on the home!
Once the roof deck and ice & water barrier had been replaced and secured, our team began to install the new shingle system.
The SBS Rubberized Shingles our team installs for Washington homeowners are a fantastic alternative to traditional asphalt shingles. While they are designed in a very similar fashion, the area where the two options differ is in the granules. Our SBS shingles come with stronger, rubberized granules which provide them with additional durability and longevity, making them a fantastic option for the unpredictable and harsh Washington weather!
